Speaker Bios

Elizabeth King

Elizabeth M. King is a recently retired vice president of Human Resources Solutions and Services for Starbucks Corporation. During her tenure, the company grew from 1,100 to over 26,000 coffee shops with locations in four countries to now 75. This significant growth provided exciting challenges and opportunities for Elizabeth during her 19+ years at Starbucks.


Elizabeth grew up in Bellefonte, PA and is a graduate from both the Bellefonte Area School District and The Pennsylvania State University.  She is an avid Penn State fan and a former Nittany Lion on the Penn State Softball team.  She spends much of her free time working as a mentor to the Penn State Softball student-athletes. She splits her time between her homes in Bellevue, WA and Boalsburg, PA. Today she is the managing partner of Elizabeth M. King Consulting, LLC, a niche consulting company that she founded after retiring from Starbucks.

She is pleased and honored to be a long-time sponsor of the Entrepreneurial Women’s Expo.

Lindsay Fairman

Lindsay is a strategic technology leader who works with executives, investors, and innovation stakeholders to minimize risk and increase profitability. As Managing Director of Align Advisors, Lindsay educates, designs, and assesses software product capabilities for commercialization. 


She held multiple leadership roles at Raytheon, the U.S. technology leader specializing in defense and cybersecurity solutions. Lindsay also founded a retail technology startup company. Her skill set encompasses technology, business, product development and security. 


As a West Virginia native, she is inspired by the opportunities technology provides to small towns and rural communities.  Lindsay currently lives in State College, PA where she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and three energetic children.

Dana Ray

Dana Ray is a narrative marketer, helping you when your story is your strategy. Dana has a Master's in English Literature and Creative Writing from Bucknell University and had a Fulbright Fellowship in Bulgaria. Dana is grateful to be part of a community of women making their own rules for what life and business can be.

Mindi Burke

Mindi Burke is a transformational coach, trainer, and speaker who inspires and empowers her clients and audiences to raise their B.A.R. (Beliefs, Actions, and Results.) Her passion is to help successful professionals balance their career and home life in a way that allows them to feel fulfilled, focused, and productive.


Studying personal growth and human potential for more than 20 years with numerous master trainers, including internationally known experts Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield, provided Mindi with a firm foundation of knowledge. She utilized this training within her corporate career to develop highly collaborative, efficient and effective teams of high producers. The more experience she gained as a result of working with her employees, colleagues and even personal relationships, the deeper she fell in love with coaching.


Since leaving the corporate world to begin her own coaching practice, Mindi has worked with entrepreneurs and corporate employees alike to embark on an exciting, meaningful career path as well as release unproductive habits and increase their well-being and peace of mind.


Mindi lives in Lancaster County with her two young children. She enjoys sports, spending time with family and friends, reading, movies, music, continuing her self-development journey, and connecting through meaningful conversation.

Amy Gavlock

Amy, a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, works with a local boutique financial planning firm affiliated with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.  Ameriprise is a nationally recognized industry leader and Amy has found a particularly underserved market . . . the entrepreneurial woman investor.  She serves all, but likes this niche market where she can lend her expertise to our unique needs by walking us through comprehensive financial planning, which encompasses retirement planning, saving for education, cash and debt management, insurance, and more.  She will make sure you have all you the knowledge you need make the best decisions for you and your family.


In her spare time, newlywed Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a new entrepreneur.  They like to cook new dishes, exercise, and travel.  They also enjoy their two cats.

Shawn Ciociola

Shawn has a rich background in several previous careers including the corporate world, the beauty industry, the health & wellness field and care-giving. Her search for the perfect career has led her to bestselling author/speaker and now as a certified success coach, Shawn’s work is centered around helping people make deliberate choices that lead to more fulfillment, peace, satisfaction and happiness.

Her vast experience with people from diverse backgrounds along with the joys and sorrows of care-giving has strengthened her resolve to live her best life and to use her experience to support others.  When you read Shawn’s chapter in the best-selling book “Women Who Inspire,” you see and feel the compassion and vulnerability that make her such a gifted coach and intuitive listener.

She is currently working on her second book which contains all her tips and tricks for self-care while care-giving and living with elderly parents.  Her third book is a daily journal to help bring more clarity to your goals through setting intentions and releasing what no longer serves. Her work is dedicated to helping you live the life you always wanted but didn’t know how to get.


Shawn is the creator of the lifestyle brand, Facets of Living, which is a platform to support total well-being for the mind, body and soul.  Shawn also owns and operates a Line Handling Company in Baltimore, Maryland, which her father began in 2000.  It is an honor for Shawn to carry out his legacy.

Kelly Clark

It all started when my professional dancer aunt showed up with her makeup kit and said play!

Thirty plus years later, as a licensed esthetician, I followed my heart and started to study and specialize exclusively in makeup artistry.  I offer freelance makeup services for bridal, special events, private and group lessons and commercial work. My professional makeup kit contains an extensive line of only the best products to help my client's finished look last throughout their event. I've had the pleasure of working with some of the nicest brides and amazing photographers in addition to ESPN, Good Morning America, The Big Ten Network and other corporate clients. When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my amazingly supportive husband Joe and our three children.

Ali Rothrock

Ali Rothrock is a speaker, author and activist who has delivered over 450 presentations nationwide. Ali has been in the volunteer fire service since 2005. She works full time in mental health education and is a member of the Montgomery County (PA) Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Ali is also a member of the Montgomery County Technical Rescue Task force, has worked as a sexual assault and domestic violence counselor and has served on multiple national diversity and inclusion committees. Ali is the author of Where Hope Lives, a memoir detailing her journey through her first few years in the fire service.


She has an associate’s degree in Fire Science and is currently earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in crisis counseling. Ali is a Certified Trauma Responder through the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists. Ali lives in Pennsylvania with her husband.
