Is the EWE for women only?
The EWE is designed for women only; however, men may assist with the exhibitor booths.  The workshops and social cocktail event are open to women only.

Will multiple industries/categories be exhibiting?
The goal of the EWE is to only allow one representative per industry.  This cannot be guaranteed at this time and will be determined by the need to fill exhibitor space.   We do guarantee that only one company will be represented. (Example: one Mary Kay, one UPS Store, or any other business that offers the exact same products).  It is our hope that as the expo grows we can guarantee only one representative per industry.

Will my competition be exhibiting?
It is possible your competition could be exhibiting.  But, what everyone needs to keep in mind is that although you offer the same product, you don’t necessarily offer the same service…use the EWE to showcase your attributes…it’s not just about the products or services we offer.  There’s so much more to being a woman entrepreneur.  The expo is not about selling one’s wares.  It’s about coming together to support one another, share success stories, maybe unsuccessful stories, laugh, learn, and move forward in our lives and businesses.

Is the EWE environmentally friendly?
You betcha!  In an effort to protect our environment, this is going to be green event.  Please help us is in going paperless by registering and paying online (Register Now!).  You will receive all correspondence via email or phone.

We will be promoting the event through word of mouth (please spread the word to everyone you know), and online marketing.  There will be no paper brochures printed.

The day of the event will feature cloth tablecloths, napkins, no paper or plastic utensils, no bottled water, and no silly giveaway gizmos that clutter up your home and office.

What will take place during the EWE?
You will just have to wait and be surprised!  In addition to the workshops and exhibitor displays the day will be interjected with surprises and fun!  You won’t want to miss it!

What is the Cancellation Policy?
Oh no…we really hope you don’t have to cancel, but if you do all cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee for each cancelled registration and/or vendor exhibit.  No refunds will be given after September 1, 2009.  Exhibitors may not transfer their booth space to any other company.

Will meals be provided?
The following is included with your registration fee:
Morning Beverages will be provided and will include coffee, tea and water.  Please eat breakfast before coming to the expo.
Lunch will be provided the day of the event.  Mmmmm!
Ice water will be provided the entire day.  Make sure to get your 64 ounces!
A snack sponsor has been requested to provide a morning and afternoon snack.  Would you like to sponsor?  Everyone remembers events centered around food…including your company that will be featured at each break…if you are the Snack Sponsor!
A social cocktail will be held at the Down Under after the event and will be at your own expense.  Please drink responsibly!

Are there local accommodations?
This year’s conference will be held at Toftrees Resort and Conference Center, One Country Club Lane State College, PA 16803. Phone 814.234.8000. Rooms will be offered at the discount rate of $109 per night.  Make sure to mention the EWE conference pricing when making reservation.
